Pastor and faith healer, writer, and TV host, Chris Oyakhilome, known by his fans as Pastor Chris is the founder and president of LoveWorld Incorporated, also called Christ Embassy, based in Lagos, Nigeria. His unique and inspirational telling of God’s Word has inspired millions of people around the world.
Pastor Chris: The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th 1963 in Edo State in Nigeria. He was raised in a faith-filled family with loving and dedicated parents. He is the oldest son of elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. She was a pioneer of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of the Oyakhilome families, who passed her divine grace to her son at an early stage.
The whole family is actively engaged with the LoveWorld ministry. Reverend Ken is his brother and is the revered Pastor of Christ Embassy’s Houston Texas Church. He is also a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren is the director for the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry, which houses a number of top gospel artists.
Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon chose to follow her father’s lead in sharing God’s Word to the world. Also known as CSO (Community Service Organization), she is a skilled gospel artist and a member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts community.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his education in Edo College. After a grant was made to study the field of architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University) He was awarded an BSc degree in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science. He is also a doctoral honorary from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He was called from God to join the ministry and to serve the Lord.
Pastor Chris The Mentor
The Man Of God was in the University of Cambridge when he founded the church which would eventually grow to become one of the largest worldwide. His prayer group, called ‘Youth for Christ’, would quickly become one of campus’ most well-known groups. These would go on to become LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with millions of followers.
The LoveWorld ministry was established under the direction of Pastor Chris. It is a leader in satellite TV, Christian TV production and programming. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television station to broadcast from Africa to the the world, 24/7, nonstop on free-to-air networks. Today, there are LoveWorld television stations that are available on cable and satellite networks around the world.
Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris’s homeland of Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. The church has two healing schools that are located in South Africa.
Music and Gospel Music are an important part of worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry trained choirs. Many of these singers can become successful solo artists because of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s spirit and guidance.
The Future African Leaders Foundation (FALF) is an organization that is focused on the ongoing work of Pastor Chris. It’s aimed at developing and recognizing young leaders, and training them to be successful in the years to come. Pastor Chris invests in the youth of today to assist them in becoming tomorrow’s leaders.

This daily devotional provides inspirational insights into God’s powerful Word. Rhapsody of Realities is available in over a thousand languages and is distributed to millions of readers.
Alongside his writings many of Pastor Chris’s sermons and prayers and thoughtful reflections can be accessed online through the Pastor Chris Digital Library, an online repository with access to thousands of hours of video as well as audio recordings in many different languages.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a passionate charity-minded person who founded the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation international (COFI), which is a non-profit, not-for-profit organization with the mission of helping the most vulnerable individuals and communities in the poorest countries and regions across the world.
In addition to preaching the Gospel message, the Man Of God has also established a number of NGOs that are tasked with providing vital services and hope to the most vulnerable and marginalized people. COFI is supported by five partners, all of whom is committed to improving living standards in the most remote areas.
Under the auspices COFI are COFI’s InnerCity Mission (ICM) for children, the Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) as well as the Bible For All Mission. Each of these groups works to enhance the health, lives and spirits of the most in need.
His charity also provides nourishment for children in need. Pastor Chris believes strongly in the importance of solid communities through COFI, The InnerCity Mission and the advancement of accountable governance, good governance leadership and sustainable development both in Africa and in other regions in the world, according to the Sustainable Development Goals.
