Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian, born in December 63 in Edo State. He was raised by his parents, who are loving and caring. He is the child of Elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the pioneers in the Assemblies to God Church in Benin City. Chris Oyakhilome Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. God’s grace was passed on to her son in the early years of his life.
The LoveWorld ministry is a collaborative effort between the families. The Reverend brother of Ken (the revered pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is the home of several international best-selling gospel singers.
Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon chose to follow in her father’s footsteps of sharing God’s Word with all people. Also known as CSO (Community Service Organization), she is a gifted gospel singer and part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts community.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was educated in Edo College. He then won an award to study architecture in Bendel State University. He also holds an honorary doctorate of divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. It was Ambrose Ali University when he received a call from God to be a minister and servant of the Lord.

While still at university The Man of God started what would later turn out to be the biggest church in the world. It began with a small group of prayer known as ‘Youth for Christ’. The group would later grow to be the basis for LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy as well as eventually millions of followers around the world.
The LoveWorld ministry was founded under the direction of Pastor Chris. It’s a pioneer in satellite television, Christian TV production and programming. The Man, God, has created a number of NGOs with the aim to provide vital assistance and hope. COFI is a partnership of five who are dedicated to enhancing living standards in some of the most degraded areas.
