Pastor, faith-healer, author and a television host Chris Oyakhilome (also called Pastor Chris) is the founder of LoveWorld Incorporated. The company, which is also known as Christ Embassy is based out of Lagos, Nigeria. He has impressed millions of people around the world with his distinctive telling of the Word of God.
Pastor Chris: The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian who was born in December 63 in Edo State. He was raised by his loving parents. He is the son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the founders of the Assemblies to God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. Her divine grace was passed down to her son in the early years of his life.
The entire family is engaged in the LoveWorld ministry. His brother Reverend Ken is the renowned pastor of Christ Embassy’s Houston, Texas Church and is a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council as well as his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), where there are a number of top gospel artists in the world.
Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters, Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Carissa Sharon follows in her father’s tradition of sharing God’s Word with the World. In addition, she is known as CSO as a singer, she is an accomplished, award-winning gospel musician and is a member of LoveWorld Music and Arts.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome received his education at Edo College. He then received an award to study architecture in Bendel State University. He has an honorary divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He was called from God to join the ministry and serve the Lord.
