Pastor of faith, healer of the sick and author Chris Oyakhilome is known to his followers as Pastor Chris. He is also the president of LoveWorld Incorporated. Also known as Christ Embassy. Pastor Chris: The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. He was raised in a family of faith with loving, dedicated parents. He is the oldest of three sons who was born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founding members of the Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her faith in God on her son from an early age.
Oyakhilome The entire family is engaged in the LoveWorld ministry. Reverend Ken is his brother. He is the beloved minister of Christ Embassy’s Houston Texas Church and a member on Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM) which is where many gospel musicians are among the best-selling worldwide.
Chris Oyakhilome Family Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters, Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Carissa Sharon, who is also referred to by the name of CSO is a CSO member who has decided to follow the example of her father, sharing the Word of God the world. She is a talented, award-winning gospel singer and part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Family.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his studies in Edo College. After a grant was made to pursue a degree in the field of architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University) He received the BSc degree in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science. He is also an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was where he found his calling to serve the Lord and to be a minister.

While still in university The Man of God established what would eventually become the largest congregation in the world. It began with a small group of prayer called ‘Youth for Christ’. The group would later become the basis for LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with a later number of millions of followers across the globe.

In addition to proclaiming the gospel, the Man of God has also created a variety of non-profit organizations that have the mission of providing essential aid and hope to those who are poor, in need or neglected. COFI is supported by five partners, each of whom is dedicated to improving the living standard in remote areas.
Under the auspices of COFI is COFI’s InnerCity Mission (ICM) for children as well as the Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), as well as the Bible For All Mission.
