Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a family of faith and loving, devoted parents. He is the youngest son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome. Angelina, one of the early pioneers of the Assemblies, of God Church in Benin City, as well as the matriarch of the Oyakhilome family, who instilled her divine grace on her son very early.
The LoveWorld ministry is supported by all members of the family. His brother, Reverend Ken, is the esteemed Pastor of Christ Embassy’s Houston, Texas Church and a member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council and his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), where there are a number of top gospel artists in the world.
Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon is following her father’s footsteps of sharing God’s Word with the World. As well as being known by CSO as a singer, she is a talented, award winning gospel singer and is part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome received his education in Edo College. He then received an award to study architecture in Bendel State University. He also holds an honorary doctorate of divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was where he discovered his calling to serve the Lord and to be a minister.

The Man of God created what would eventually become one of the largest church congregations in the world when he was still a student at the university. He had an unassuming prayer group known as ‘Youth for Christ’, which later grew into one of the largest organizations of its type on campus.
