Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a family of faith and loving parents who were devoted to their children. He is the child of Elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the pioneers in the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. God’s grace was passed down to her son early.
The entire family is involved with the LoveWorld ministry. His brother, Reverend Ken is the renowned pastor of Christ Embassy’s Houston, Texas Church and an active member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council as well as his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), which is home to several top gospel artists in the world.
Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon has chosen to follow her father’s example of sharing the Word of God with the world, also called CSO She is an accomplished gospel artist, award-winning and a member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts family.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his education at Edo College. Then he was awarded a scholarship that allowed him to pursue studies at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There he graduated with a BSc. in Architecture, as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds the recipient of an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He received his calling from God to be a minister and to serve the Lord.

COFI’s umbrella covers the InnerCity Mission ICM (ICM) and the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation /TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations strives to improve the lives, health, and spirits of those most in need.
