Pastor of faith, healer of the sick and author Chris Oyakhilome is known to his fans as Pastor Chris. He is also the president of LoveWorld Incorporated. Also called Christ Embassy. It is headquartered in Lagos. He has impressed millions around the world with his distinctive telling of God’s Word.
Pastor Chris The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian, born on December 63 in Edo State. He was raised by his parents, who are loving and caring. He is the eldest child of Elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. She was a pioneer of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of Oyakhilome families, who passed her divine grace to her son at an early age.
The whole family is actively engaged in the LoveWorld ministry. His brother Reverend Ken (the revered pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is the home of several top-selling gospel musicians.
Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon is following to follow the way of her father, spreading the Word of God to the world. Also known as CSO she is a gospel singer who has won awards and a member of LoveWorld Music and Arts.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his studies at Edo College. Then he was awarded a scholarship to pursue studies at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There was he obtained an BSc. in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science. He is also the recipient of an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University. While at Ambrose Ali University, he received a call from God to go into the ministry and become a servant to the Lord.

The Man of God, while still studying at the university, founded what would become one the most significant churches in the world. A small group of prayer called Youth for Christ’ was formed. It would develop into one of the largest and most well-known groups at the university. LoveWorld Incorporated would follow millions through the foundation of Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated.
The LoveWorld ministry, under the leadership of Chris, the pastor Chris was the first pioneer of satellite television and Christian television programming. LoveWorldSAT is the first Christian TV station to broadcast from Africa all day, on air-free networks. There are currently LoveWorld television stations that are available on cable and satellite networks around the world.
Christ Embassy is present in Pastor Chris’s homeland of Nigeria and South Africa. It also has strong representation across the United Kingdom, Canada, United States, and South Africa. The ministry also runs two Healing Schools located in South Africa, Canada and the US, where Pastor Chris runs sessions throughout the year, in which miracles are possible.
Music and Gospel Music play an integral aspect of worship. Pastor Chris supports Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry choir to train. Many of these vocalists have been successful as soloists under Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s direction.

The Man, God, has established a variety of non-profit organizations with the goal to provide vital services and hope. COFI has five partners who are committed to improving the living conditions in some of the most degraded regions.
