Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a family of faith and loving parents who were devoted to their children. He is the child of Elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the founders of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. God’s grace was passed down to her son in the early years of his life.
The LoveWorld ministry is supported by the entire family. Reverend Ken the brother of Ken is the revered pastor of Christ Embassy’s Houston Texas Church and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM) which is where numerous gospel artists are among the top-selling in the world.
Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Chris Oyakhilome Carissa Sharon has chosen to follow the path of her father of sharing the gospel of God to the world. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his studies at Edo College. Then he was awarded a scholarship that allowed him to pursue studies at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There was he obtained an BSc. in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate of divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was the campus where he felt God called him to be an ordained minister to the Lord.

The Man Of God was a student at University when he started the church that would soon grow into one of the largest worldwide. His prayer group, ‘Youth For Christ’ would eventually become one of campus’ most well-known groups. They would later go on to become LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with millions of followers.
