Pastor Chris The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th 1963 in Edo State in Nigeria. He was raised in a family of faith with loving and dedicated parents. He is the oldest son of elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. She was the pioneer of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of Oyakhilome families. She handed down her divine grace to her son at an early stage.
The LoveWorld ministry is actively supported by all members of the family. Reverend Ken is his brother and the revered pastor at Christ Embassy’s Houston Texas Church. He is also a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren is the director for the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry which has a host of gospel top-selling artists.
Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon has chosen the path of her father of spreading the Gospel of God to the world. Also known as CSO she is a Grammy-winning gospel artist and a member of LoveWorld Music and Arts.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was educated in Edo College. He then won a scholarship to study architecture in Bendel State University. He also holds the recipient of an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was where he found his calling to serve the Lord and go into ministry.

The Man of God, while still studying at the university, founded what would later become one of the most significant church in the world. A small prayer group named Youth for Christ’ was created. It would evolve into one of the largest and most well-known organizations at the university. The LoveWorld ministry was launched under the direction of Pastor Chris. It is a pioneer in satellite TV, Christian TV production and programming. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television channel to broadcast 24 hours a day from Africa through free-to-air channels. In the present, LoveWorld stations can be found on satellite and cable television networks throughout the world.
Christ Embassy has strong presences in Pastor Chris’s native Nigeria and also South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. The ministry operates two healing schools, which are based in South Africa.
