Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a child of faith, who was raised in a loving family and supported by his parents. He is the oldest of three sons born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founding members of the Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her grace on her son from the age of a child.
The LoveWorld ministry is comprised of all members of the family. Reverend Ken, his brother, is the beloved minister of Christ Embassy’s Houston Texas Church and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM) in which many gospel musicians are among the top-selling artists worldwide.
Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Oyakhilome Carissa Sharon, also known by CSO is a CSO member who has decided to follow in the footsteps of her father by sharing the Word of God the world. She is a gifted gospel artist, a Grammy-award winning singer and a member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Family.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his education at Edo College. Then he was awarded a scholarship to study at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There was he obtained an BSc. in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He also has awarded an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. He was at Ambrose Ali University when he was called by God to be a priest and servant of the Lord.

Pastor Chris was the leader of the LoveWorld ministry to become the pioneer of satellite TV and Christian production of television. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome LoveWorldSAT is the first Christian TV station that broadcasts from Africa 24/7 a day, on free-to air networks. Today, LoveWorld television stations are available on satellite and cable networks all over the world.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome COFI’s umbrella covers the InnerCity Mission ICM (ICM) and the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation /TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation and the Bible For All Mission.
