Pastor Chris”The” Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian who was born in December 63 in Edo State. He was raised by his parents, who are loving and caring. He is the youngest son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome. Angelina, one of the early pioneers of the Assemblies, of God Church in Benin City, as well as the matriarch of the Oyakhilome family, who instilled her divine grace in her son from the beginning.
The LoveWorld ministry is a joint effort of the family. Reverend Ken is his brother and is the revered Pastor of Christ Embassy’s Houston Texas Church. He is also a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry that is home several top-selling gospel artists.
Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters, Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Carissa Sharon is following in her father’s footsteps of sharing God’s Word with the World. As well as being known by CSO her name, she is a talented, award winning gospel singer and is part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his studies at Edo College. Then he was granted a scholarship to study at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There he graduated with a BSc. in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science. Additionally, he holds an honourary doctorate in divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. While at Ambrose Ali University, he got his calling from God to go into the ministry and become an obedient servant of the Lord.

The Man Of God was in the University of Cambridge when he started the church that would soon grow into one of the largest worldwide. His prayer group, called ‘Youth for Christ’ would eventually become one of the campus’ most popular groups. The group would later to create LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with millions of followers.
Under Pastor Chris’s guidance under the direction of Pastor Chris, under Pastor Chris’s direction, the LoveWorld ministry was an innovator in satellite television and Christian programming and production. LoveWorldSAT broadcast the first Christian television station that reaches from Africa across the world of the world, throughout the day, via free-to-air networks. There are LoveWorld satellite and cable television stations all over the globe.
Christ Embassy has strong presences in Pastor Chris’s home country of Nigeria as well as South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. The church has two Healing Schools, based in South Africa and Canada, in which Pastor Chris organizes seasonal sessions during which miraculous events are witnessed.
Music and Gospel Music are also an integral part of worship. Pastor Chris is a strong advocate for gospel music. Christ Embassy Churches have a choir trained and supervised by the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. A lot of the singers are successful in their solo careers.
