Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a family of faith and loving, dedicated parents. He was the oldest of four children of the elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the pioneers of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina the matriarch of the Oyakhilome family, who imprinted her faith in God’s grace upon her son from a young age.

Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters: Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a student at Edo College before winning a scholarship to pursue a degree in architecture at Bendel State University, known now as Ambrose Ali University, where the student earned a BSc in Architecture. He also received an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also holds awarded an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. It was Ambrose Ali University when he received his call from God to become a minister and serving the Lord.
