Pastor, faith-healer, author and TV presenter Chris Oyakhilome (also called Pastor Chris) is the founder of LoveWorld Incorporated. The company, which is also known as Christ Embassy is based out of Lagos, Nigeria. His unique and inspirational telling of God’s Word has inspired millions of people around the world.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a child of faith, who was nurtured by a family of faith and was supported by his parents. Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon, also known by CSO, has chosen to follow the footsteps of her father and share the gospel of God the world. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his studies at Edo College. After a scholarship was awarded to study the field of architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University) He received an BSc degree in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He also has awarded an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He received his calling from God to join the ministry and to serve the Lord.

When he was still in university, The Man of God founded what would be one of the biggest churches in the world. He began an informal prayer group called “Youth for Christ” which would later develop into the most renowned group of its kind on campus. This would also serve as the basis for the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated which has millions of followers across the globe.
Under the leadership of Pastor Chris, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. LOVEWORLDSAT was first Christian television station to broadcast out of Africa 24/7 on free-to-air channels. There are LoveWorld satellite and cable television stations all over the world.
Chris Oyakhilome Family Christ Embassy is present in Pastor Chris’s home country of Nigeria and South Africa. It also has strong representations in the United Kingdom, Canada, United States, and South Africa. The church operates two Healing Schools, based in South Africa and Canada, in which Pastor Chris holds seasonal sessions where the power of God is demonstrated.
Music and Gospel Music form an integral element of worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches have a choir that is supervised and trained by the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. Many of these singers are successful in their solo careers.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, a fervent philanthropist and founded the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation international (COFI) COFI, which is a non-profit non-governmental organization that has the goal of helping the most vulnerable individuals as well as communities within the least developed countries and regions around the world.
The Man of God created a number of NGOs to provide vital services and hope to the needy, poor and neglected. COFI has five partners that are committed to improving the living conditions in some of the most degraded regions.
Under the auspices COFI are the InnerCity Mission (ICM) for children as well as the Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), as well as the Bible For All Mission.
