The Kerem Tunnel provides a unique riding experience and hiking experience which is loved by everyone.
In the 42-kilometer Jerusalem Ring Path cycling route that runs around the capital, the Kerem Tunnel was inaugurated.
נווה פריצקי The tunnel links Nahal Refaim and Emek Motza. It has a southern entrance within Refaim Park. Ein Laban is the nearest. Nahal Ein Kerem is the northern entrance.
The opening ceremony of the tunnel, which is 2.1 kilometers long took place in Jerusalem and the Heritage Minister Ze’ev Elkin, Mayor Moshelion and Avi Baleshnikov (Gihon water company chairman) along with hundreds of cyclists.

Elkin’s Ministry Tourism Ministry, Jerusalem Municipality and Gihon Corporation contributed approximately NIS 25 million for the project. Work was performed by the Jerusalem Development Authority.

The tunnel will also be paved in the various areas. This will help cyclists and promote green transport in Jerusalem.

The work currently in progress includes road construction, the installation of blowers, as well as advanced security and electrical systems to make the tunnel safe for the public to pass through all year round.
The Kerem Tunnel gives you access to a variety of places to relax, including Ein Kerem Neighborhood, the Biblical Zoo and Aquarium as well as historic natural springs Ein Haniyeh or Ein Laban.
