The Kerem Tunnel is a great spot to hike and ride.
The Kerem Tunnel, the first bicycle tunnel in Israel, has been inaugurated as part of the Jerusalem Ring Path, a 42-kilometer cycling route that surrounds Jerusalem, Israel’s capital city.
The tunnel connects Nahal Refaim and Emek Motza. Its southern entrance is located in Refaim Park, below Ein Laban and its northern entrance is in Nahal Ein Kerem, about half a mile from the Kerem junction.

The current works include road construction, the installation of blowers and advanced security and electrical systems in order to ensure that the tunnel is secure for the public to pass through throughout the year.
The Kerem Tunnel provides access to unique recreation locations, including Ein Kerem neighbourhood, the biblical aquarium and zoo , as well the historic natural springs Ein Haniyeh, Ein Laban Ein Laban, and Ein Haniyeh.
