The Kerem Tunnel provides a unique riding experience and hiking experience that is to be enjoyed by everyone.
The Kerem Tunnel, the first bicycle tunnel in Israel is now open in the Jerusalem Ring Path, a 42-kilometer cycle route that circles Jerusalem, the capital city.
The tunnel runs through the Nahal-Refaim-Emek-Motza path. The southern entrance is located in Refaim Park, below Ein Laban while the northern entrance is in Nahal Ein Kerem, about half a kilometer from the Kerem junction.

The Kerem Tunnel was first excavated in the late 1990s to relocate the main sewer line from the Gihon Corporation toward the purification plant in Sorek The Sorek Tunnel is located west of the city and is currently used as an infrastructure tunnel. It also includes the fifth water line, which connects to Jerusalem from the Mekorot water company.
