The Kerem Tunnel allows for a unique hiking and riding experience.
As part of the 42-kilometer Jerusalem Ring Path cycling route that runs around the capital city, the Kerem Tunnel was inaugurated.
The tunnel links Nahal Refaim and Emek Motza. The tunnel’s southern entrance can be found within Refaim Park below Ein Laban. While the northern entrance is located in Nahal Ein Kerem about half an hour away from the Kerem junction.
Inauguration of the tunnel that is 2.1 kilometers long was held in Jerusalem and the Heritage Minister Ze’ev Elkin Mayor Moshelion, Heritage Minister Ze’ev Elkin Avi Baleshnikov (Gihon water company chairman) as well as a plethora of cyclists.
Jerusalem was once a very well-known tourist destination due to its rich history.
