Pastor Chris”The” Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a child of faith, raised by a loving family and supported by his parents. He is the father of Elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the first pioneers of the Assemblies to God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. The divine grace of her mother was passed on to her son in the early years of his life.
The LoveWorld ministry is a collaborative effort between the families. The Reverend brother of Ken (the revered Pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is home of several best-selling gospel singers.
Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon has decided to follow her father’s model of sharing the Word of God with the world and is also known as CSO She is a gifted gospel artist, award-winning and a member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts family.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a student at Edo College before winning a scholarship to study architecture at Bendel State University, known today as Ambrose Ali University, where he obtained a BSc in Architecture. He also received an honorary Doctor of Science award. He holds an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Oyakhilome Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He received his calling from God to be a minister and to serve the Lord.

The Man of God, while still studying at the university, founded what would eventually become one of the most important church in the world. A small prayer group known as Youth for Christ’ was formed. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television channel that broadcasts 24/7 from Africa through free-to-air channels. The Man, God, has created a number of NGOs with the aim to offer vital assistance and hope. COFI has five partners who support it, all of whom are dedicated to improving living standards in the most remote areas.
Under the auspices COFI is the InnerCity Mission (ICM) for children as well as the Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) as well as the Bible For All Mission. Each of these groups works to improve the lives and health of the most vulnerable.
