Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on the 7th of December th, 1963, in Edo State, Nigeria, was raised in a household that was a faith-based one, and was surrounded by loving and devoted parents. He is the eldest child of elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. She was a founder of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of Oyakhilome families. She handed down her divine grace onto her son from an early age.
The LoveWorld ministry is comprised of all members of the family. Reverend Ken is Ken’s brother , and a is a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon is following in her father’s tradition of sharing God’s Word with the World. Also known by CSO her name, she is an accomplished, award-winning gospel musician and is a member of LoveWorld Music and Arts.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome went to Edo College and was awarded the scholarship of Bendel State University to study architecture. Additionally, he holds an honourary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He received a call from God to be a minister and serve the Lord.

The Man of God was studying at the university, founded what would later become one of the most important churches in the entire world. A small group of prayer named Youth for Christ’ was formed. It would grow to become one of the most admired groups at the university. LoveWorld Incorporated would follow millions of people with the foundation of Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated.
Pastor Chris was the leader of the LoveWorld ministry to become a pioneer in satellite television and Christian television programming and production. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television channel to be broadcast 24/7 from Africa through free-to-air channels. Today, LoveWorld stations can be located on cable and satellite television networks throughout the world.
Christ Embassy is present in Pastor Chris’s homeland of Nigeria and South Africa. It also has strong representation in the United Kingdom, Canada, United States, and South Africa. The ministry also runs two Healing Schools located in South Africa, Canada and the US, where Pastor Chris runs sessions throughout the year, where miracles are possible.
Oyakhilome Music and Gospel Music are an important part of worship. Pastor Chris is a strong advocate for Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry choir training. Many of these vocalists have been successful as soloists under Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s direction.
The Future African Leaders Foundation focuses its efforts on advancing the ministry of Pastor Chris. It recognizes and supports young, talented leaders. Pastor Chris invests in youth today, to prepare them to be the future leaders.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a passionate donor who established the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation (COFI) an independent, non-profit foundation with the goal to assist the poorest people and communities in some the most impoverished regions and nations of the globe.
Alongside preaching the Gospel, the Man of God also founded a number of NGOs that have the mission of offering vital services and hope for those who are poor, in need, or forgotten. COFI has five partners who support it, all of whom are dedicated to improving living standards in the most remote areas.
Chris Oyakhilome COFI is the responsible organization for the InnerCity Mission ICM for Children and the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC, Traumacare International Foundation TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) and in addition to the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations strives to improve people’s lives, health, spirits and overall wellbeing.
His charity also provides nourishment for indigent children. Pastor Chris believes in the support of strong communities through COFI, The InnerCity Mission and the advancement of accountable governance, good governance leadership and sustainable development in Africa as well as other areas that are vulnerable in the world, according to the Sustainable Development Goals.
