Pastor of faith, author, and faith healer, and television presenter Chris Oyakhilome (also called Pastor Chris) is the creator of LoveWorld Incorporated. The business, also known as Christ Embassy is located in Lagos, Nigeria. His unique and inspirational telling of God’s Word has enthralled millions all over the world.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a child of faith, nurtured by a family of faith and supported by his parents. He was the oldest of four children of Elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the pioneers of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina, and the mother of the Oyakhilome family, who imparted her divine grace upon her son at an early age.
The LoveWorld ministry encompasses all members of the family. His brother, Reverend Ken is the renowned Pastor of Christ Embassy’s Houston, Texas Church and a member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council, and his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), where there are a number of top gospel artists in the world.
Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon chose to follow her father’s example of sharing God’s Word with the world. Also known as CSO (Community Service Organization) She is a gifted gospel singer and part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts community.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome attended Edo College and was awarded the scholarship of Bendel State University to study architecture. He also has the recipient of an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He received his calling from God to join the ministry and to serve the Lord.

The Man of God created what would eventually be one of the biggest church congregations in the world when he was still at a university. It began with a small prayer group called “Youth for Christ,” that eventually grew into one of the most popular organization of its kind on campus. It would later serve as the basis for the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated with millions of followers across the globe.
The LoveWorld ministry was founded under Pastor Chris. It is a pioneer in satellite television, Christian TV production and programming. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television station broadcast out of Africa to the rest of the world, 24 hours a day, nonstop on free-to-air networks. Today, LoveWorld television stations are available on satellite and cable networks around the world.
Christ Embassy has strong presence in Pastor Chris’s home country of Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. The church operates two Healing Schools that are located in South Africa and Canada, in which Pastor Chris hosts sessions throughout the year where miraculous events are witnessed.
Music and Gospel Music form an integral part in worship. Pastor Chris supports Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry to train choirs. Many of these singers develop into successful solo artists through the guidance of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s inspiration and guidance.

COFI is the responsible organization for the InnerCity Mission ICM for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC, Traumacare International Foundation TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), along with the Bible For All Mission. Each of these groups strives to improve well-being, health, and spirits, especially the most vulnerable.
