Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian who was born in December 63 in Edo State. He was nurtured by his parents who were devoted to him. He is the oldest son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome. Angelina, one of the early pioneers of the Assemblies of God’s Church in Benin City, as well as the matriarch of the Oyakhilome family, who imparted her divine grace on her son at a very young age.
The LoveWorld ministry encompasses the entire family. His brother Reverend Ken is the renowned pastor of Christ Embassy’s Houston, Texas Church and is a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council and his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), which houses a variety of global best-selling gospel artists.
Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon has chosen the way of her father, spreading the gospel of God to the world. Also known as CSO, she is a Grammy-winning gospel artist and a member of LoveWorld Music and Arts.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his education at Edo College. Then he was awarded a scholarship to go to Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There was he obtained an BSc. in Architecture, as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He also has an honorary doctorate in divinity awarded by the Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He was called from God to enter the ministry and to serve the Lord.

He established a small prayer group called “Youth for Christ” which would develop into the most renowned group of its kind on campus. The Man, God, has established a variety of non-profit organizations with the goal to provide vital services and hope. COFI has five partners that are all dedicated to raising living standards in the most underdeveloped areas.
COFI is accountable for the InnerCity Mission ICM for Children as well as the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC, Traumacare International Foundation TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) and along with the Bible For All Mission. Each of the organizations works to improve health, lives and spirits for those in dire need.
The charity also offers assistance for children who are in need. Pastor Chris believes that solid foundations of community are backed by COFI and The InnerCity Mission.
