Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th, 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. Chris Oyakhilome He was raised in a religious family with loving, dedicated parents. He was the oldest of four children of Elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the pioneers of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina who is the mother of the Oyakhilome family, who imparted her divine grace on her son at an early age.
The LoveWorld ministry is comprised of all members of the family. Reverend Ken the brother of Ken is the beloved pastor of Christ Embassy’s Houston Texas Church and a member on Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM), where many gospel musicians are among the top-selling in the world.
Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon has chosen to follow her father’s example of sharing the Gospel of God with the world and is also called CSO She is an accomplished gospel artist, award-winning and a part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts family.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his education at Edo College. Then he was awarded a scholarship to study at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris’s native Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. The church has two Healing Schools located in South Africa and Canada, in which Pastor Chris holds seasonal sessions where miraculous events are witnessed.

COFI is responsible for the InnerCity Mission ICM for Children as well as the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC, Traumacare International Foundation TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) and along with the Bible For All Mission. Each of these groups works to improve the lives, health and well-being of those most in need.
The charity also provides food to children in need. Pastor Chris believes in empowering communities through COFI as well as The InnerCity Mission.
