Pastor Chris: The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on 7 December th, 1963 in Edo State, Nigeria, was raised in a household of faith, surrounded by loving and devoted parents. He is the son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the first pioneers of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. The divine grace of her mother was passed on to her son in the early years of his life.
The entire family is involved with the LoveWorld ministry. Reverend Ken the brother of Ken is the most revered pastor of Christ Embassy’s Houston Texas Church and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM) in which several gospel artists are among the top-selling in the world.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome studied at Edo College before winning a scholarship to study architecture at Bendel State University, known now as Ambrose Ali University, where the student earned a BSc in Architecture. He also received an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also holds an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. Ambrose Ali University was the campus where he felt God calling him to be a minister for the Lord.
