The candidate Fico Gutierrez got up early on Sunday to run the Corre mi Tierra Half Marathon, 21 kilometers, in Medellin.
Fico ran with Margarita Gomez, and 15 thousand other runners that crowded the streets in the Antioquian capital.
Fico, one of the Medellin resident, who is famous for his sporting activities — he runs marathons and cycles -He said he’d promote Colombians as president through the promotion of popular schools within the territory, seedbeds at an early age, as well as the development of infrastructure.
He also said that the government program he’s talking about offers academic assistance to all those who want to get involved in sports promotion.
While he walked through the streets of Antioquia in the midst of the runners, Fico received thousands of messages of love and support for his presidential run. Many runners were able to approach him to express their support for him.
