This presents a number of serious issues for farmers tasked with producing enough high-quality food to feed Canadians and the rest of the globe.
Canada is currently the 5th largest exporter of food, globally.2 As the population grows, Canadian farmers in particular will play a significant role in providing the globe with the food that it requires. They will be required to produce more food than ever before.
