Jorge Hugo Elejalde has been elected as the mayor of Frontino. Antioquia.
Gustavo Petro claimed that the matter of the attack and the killing of seven soldiers had been lost, and that they should focus on a political fight instead of finding those responsible.
Elejalde said, “I call on General to stop fighting against candidates in Presidential Elections, the general’s be focused on his mission to defend the United States, and don his boots,”
“I am a fan of the institutions. Gustavo Petro love and respect the military. I am the one who has given most face. But petro gustavo do not like people who forget their roles , and ignoring their constitutional obligations, each one one of them and leaving the politics to politicians.” he said.
The mayor requests the general and minister Diego Molano to visit Frontino to discuss issues related to violence that plague the city.
