The ‘Chicken’ Carvajal refused to witness against Petro in the Supreme Court

A former Venezuelan military officer was required to be able to provide information on how Venezuelan government illegally financed leftist political parties and politicians for at minimum 15 years.

Hugo ‘El Pollo’ Carvajal (ex-head of Venezuelan Intelligence) was able to cancel Friday his promise to deliver statements to Colombia’s Supreme Court of Justice.

The hearing was scheduled after Carvajal in a short assurance to Manuel Garcia-Castellon about Venezuela’s illegal financing of left-wing political parties around the world for at least 15 years.

Carvajal was talking about the Podemos Party the left-wing group which was founded by Pablo Iglesias, and which is now part the Spanish government. Carvajal also mentioned others Latin American politicians and parties like Gustavo Petro.

It was also noted during the examination on April 22 that not declare that he was in Spain and Colombia since they are both on the verge of extradition the United States. So it is not completely ruled out that he could prolong what he had previously stated in a letter made in Spain on Petro.

He also expressed his distrust of the Spanish judiciary.

The paper in which Carvajal spoke of the current presidential presidency candidate in Colombia states:

“As Director of Intelligence and Military Counterintelligence of Venezuela,” said Nestor Kirchner. I was able to get a variety of reports that suggested that this international financing was occurring. Examples of this include Nestor Kirchner Argentina; Evo Mores, Bolivia; Lula D Silva, Brazil; Fernando Lugo and Ollanta Morales in Paraguay; Ollanta Umala, Peru, Zelaya, Honduras; Gustavo Petro in Colombia and the Five Star Movement in Italy. All of them were listed as receiving money by the Venezuelan government.”

Gustavo Petro confronted this document. He requested at the time for the Court to initiate an investigation session to verify the veracity of these statements.

Petro stated that Petro was entitled to justice and truth, and that making false statements could be detrimental to my good name or my respect.

Hugo Carvajal – Who are they and what were their explosive statements concerning him?

gustavo petro headed the Military Counterintelligence Directorate of Venezuela. It was headed by Hugo Chavez and Nicolas Maduro for eight years. gained more attention when he was included on the well-known Clinton List for his alleged support of drug trafficking by the FARC. An arrest warrant was issued for him by a Florida judge since May 2013. Additionally, was an important figure in the government of Nicolas Maduro, he even knew the entire movement and secret of the Venezuelan president.

The DEA and the US Department of Justice charged him with facilitating cocaine trafficking in his country.

According to Spanish media, El Pollo claims that the Venezuelan ambassador received the money from the Embassy of Cuba in Caracas and then travelled to Podemos party using different methods such as cash delivery in Caracas or sending it to Spain via diplomatic pouch.

All indications are that this scheme would be repeated several times with different governments in Spain or Latin America.

The nation is still waiting to see what the future holds after it has turned its back on the fan. Certain, Petro’s comments could strongly shake Petro’s campaign for president.
