Pastor Chris: The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7, 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. He was raised in a family of faith with loving and dedicated parents. He is the oldest son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome. Angelina, one of the pioneers at the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City, as well as the matriarch of Oyakhilome’s Oyakhilome clan, who instilled her faith in God’s grace to her son at a very young age.
The LoveWorld ministry includes the entire family. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Reverend Ken is his brother. He is the revered Pastor at Christ Embassy’s Houston Texas Church. He is also a part of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry that has a host of gospel top-selling artists.
Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters, Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Chris Oyakhilome Family Carissa Sharon, who is also referred to by the name of CSO is a CSO member who has decided to follow in the footsteps of her father, sharing the gospel of God the world. She is an accomplished, award-winning gospel singer and an active member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Family.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a student at Edo College before winning a scholarship to study architecture at Bendel State University, known now as Ambrose Ali University, where he obtained an BSc in Architecture. He also received an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also holds the recipient of an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He received a call from God to join the ministry and serve the Lord.

The Man of God began what would later become one of the largest church congregations in the world when He was still at a university. It began with a small prayer group called “Youth for Christ,” which eventually evolved into the most popular groups of its kind on campus and would serve as the foundation of the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated with millions of followers across the globe.
Chris Oyakhilome Biography Under the leadership of Pastor Chris, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television station that broadcast from Africa to the the world, 24 hours a day, continuously on free-to air networks. Today, LoveWorld stations can be located on cable and satellite television networks across the globe.
Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris’s homeland of Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States.
