Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on the 7th of December th, 1963, in Edo State, Nigeria, grew up in a family of faith, supported by loving and devoted parents. He is the oldest of three sons born to Elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her faith in God upon her son from the age of a child.
The whole family is actively involved in the LoveWorld ministry. Reverend Ken is his brother. He is the revered pastor at Christ Embassy’s Houston Texas Church. He is also a part of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren is the director for the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry that is home several top-selling gospel artists.
Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon has chosen the route of her father in sharing the gospel of God to the world. Also known CSO she is a Grammy-winning gospel artist and is a part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome studied at Edo College before winning a scholarship to study architecture at Bendel State University, known today as Ambrose Ali University, where He earned an BSc in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also holds an honorary doctorate degree in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. It was Ambrose Ali University when he received his call from God to be a priest and minister to the Lord.

Christ Embassy is present in Pastor Chris’s home country of Nigeria as well as South Africa. It also has strong representations across the United Kingdom, Canada, United States, and South Africa.
